The Reunited States of America
An Interactive Presentation

After briefly sharing his own personal journey beyond red and blue, Mark Gerzon invites the audience to reflect on their own political autobiography. By asking such questions as — How did you learn to identify with one “side” or another? Are you satisfied with the civic choices available to you? and What new ways of engaging in politics can you imagine? — Mark challenges participants to stop living in the “divided states” and to become active citizens of the Reunited States of America.

  1. Leading Across Divides
  2. Leading Across  Differences
  3. Leading Beyond  Boundaries
    An Interactive Workshop

This dynamic and engaging workshop engages participants quickly in three interwoven inquiries.

  • Both personally and professionally, how can we deal more effectively with differences?*
  • How can we be more effective, creative citizens of the United States of America?**
  • How might we re-envision and re-new our relationship as Americans to the world outside our borders?***

In addition to sharing his insights based on twenty-five years of developing cross-boundary leadership skills, Mark uses case studies from participants to illustrate how these skills can strengthen both local and national civic life in America today.
